OUTCOME — TRACK AI TRAFFIC

You already have AI traffic. Your analytics calls it “direct.”

People are landing on your site from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude right now. Crawlability identifies them, tracks them, and tells you whether they convert.

It's the fastest-growing channel you can't see.

A buyer asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, gets your name, and types your URL. No referrer. No campaign tag. Your analytics files it under ‘direct’ — the bucket where attribution goes to die.

So the channel that's quietly growing looks like nothing at all. No line item, no owner, no budget, and no way to prove it's working.

WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE

Sessions, sources, and whether they bought.

AI-sourced sessions

Visitors arriving from AI engines, identified and separated from the 'direct' bucket.

Source breakdown

Which engines are actually sending people — and which aren't. They differ more than you'd expect.

Conversions

Set up your key conversion and see whether AI-referred visitors do the thing you care about.

Trend over time

Session and conversion trajectory, so you can show a curve rather than a claim.

HOW IT WORKS

One script. Then it just runs.

01

Install the tracking script

One snippet, added to your site once.

02

We identify AI-referred sessions

Visitors arriving from AI engines are detected and separated out.

03

Set your conversion

Tell us what counts — a signup, a demo request, a purchase.

04

Watch the channel appear

Sessions, sources, conversions, and the trend over time.

THE HONEST PART ABOUT ATTRIBUTION

We report a floor, not an inflated number.

AI referral attribution is genuinely hard. Some engines pass visitors with no referral data at all, which means no tool — ours included — can catch every AI-sourced visit. Detection typically runs in the range of 60 to 80 percent.

So we report what we can prove and label it as a minimum. Your real AI traffic is at least what you see here, and probably more. We'd rather undercount and be trusted than overclaim and be caught.

Every AI traffic number we show you is a floor. The real figure is higher.

WHY THIS IS THE NUMBER THAT MATTERS

The score diagnoses. This proves.

A visibility score going up is a leading indicator. Citations appearing is stronger. But a real person arriving from an AI engine and converting on your site is the only evidence that doesn't depend on our scoring at all.

01

It's independent

This isn't our metric moving. It's humans showing up. Nothing about it relies on trusting our score.

02

It's reportable

Sessions and conversions are the language your board, your CFO, and your client already speak.

03

It's the renewal argument

For agencies especially: this is the number that turns an experiment into a retainer.

Early volumes will look small.

AI-sourced traffic to a single brand starts modest — this is an early channel, not a mature one. What matters is the trajectory and the fact that these are buyers who would otherwise never have found you. Judge the curve, not the first month's count.

Common questions

Is the AI traffic number exact?

No — it's a floor. Some engines don't pass full referral data, so your real AI traffic is at least what we show, often more. We report the minimum we can prove.

Do I need to install anything?

Yes — one tracking snippet on your site, added once. Scoring and visibility measurement work without it; traffic attribution needs it.

Will this conflict with Google Analytics?

No. It runs alongside your existing analytics rather than replacing it.

How much AI traffic should I expect?

It varies enormously by category and by how visible you are to begin with. Early volumes are usually modest — the trajectory is the point.

Can I see which engine sent which conversion?

Yes. Sessions and conversions are broken down by source engine.
